Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workday Functional Finance Consultant with over 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Workday Financials, with a strong focus on configuration, implementation, and post-go-live support. This role requires someone who can work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide solutions, and ensure the seamless integration and optimization of Workday Financial modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workday Financials Implementation: Lead and participate in Workday Financials implementation projects, including scoping, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Configuration & Customization: Configure Workday Financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Financial Reporting.
- Workday Prism Analytics: Utilize Workday Prism to integrate and analyze financial data, creating insightful reports and dashboards for informed decision-making.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze financial process requirements, ensuring alignment with Workday best practices.
- Business Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize and automate financial processes within Workday, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Training & Support: Provide training to end-users and support teams, offering guidance on best practices and troubleshooting issues post-go-live.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Integration Support: Work with technical teams to support the integration of Workday Financials with other systems, ensuring data integrity and seamless operations.
- Post-Go-Live Support: Provide ongoing support for Workday Financial modules, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements as needed.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support audit requirements by providing accurate financial reports and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Workday Financials, with a proven track record of successful implementations and support.
- Workday Certifications: Workday Financials certification is preferred.
- Financial Expertise: Strong understanding of financial processes and principles, with hands-on experience in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other financial modules.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
