WORKDAY EXTEND CONSULTANT (Remote)

JOB DESCRIPTION :

You will play a key role in implementing and customizing the Workday Extend platform for our clients. You will work closely with clients, business analysts, and development teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and configure Workday Extend applications to meet client needs

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and understand business needs
  • Analyze client requirements and design technical solutions using the Workday Extend platform
  • Configure and customize Workday Extend applications to meet client-specific needs
  • Develop and maintain Workday Extend integrations, reports, and workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and developers, to ensure       
  •  successful implementation and delivery of solutions
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide resolution in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Create technical documentation, including functional specifications, test plans, and user guides
  • Stay updated on Workday Extend platform enhancements, new features, and best practices
  • Assist in training and knowledge transfer to clients and team members
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Previous experience (2+ years) as a Workday Extend Technical Consultant or similar role
  • Strong understanding of the Workday platform, including Workday Extend, Core HCM, or other       
  • Workday modules
  • Proficiency in Workday Extend configuration, including data modeling, business process 
  • customization, and integration development
  • Experience with Workday Extend tools, such as Report Writer, EIB, Workday Studio, and calculated 
  • fields
  • Knowledge of Workday web services, REST APIs, and integration tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively analyze client requirements and design 
  • technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and collaborate within cross-
  • functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
  • Experience with full lifecycle Workday implementations is a plus
  • Workday Extend certification is a plus
